Darlegung der diagnostischen Beurteilungsmöglichkeiten mittels der sog. neuropsychologischen Test- und Diagnostikbatterie CERAD bei Alzheimererkrankung bzw. dementiellen Erkrankungsprozessen

Die sog. neuropsychologische CERAD-Testbatterie ist ein Verfahren zur Beurteilung der kognitiven Ausgangslage im Kontext dementieller Erkrankungen, z.B. der sog. Alzheimererkrankung. Die Testbatterie besteht aus verschiedenen neuropsychologischen Testverfahren, wodurch v.a. die Gedächtnisleistungen messbar werden.

In der diesbzgl. Forschungsstudie wurde nachgewiesen, dass sich die CERAD-Batterie zur Differenzierung zwischen Alzheimerpatienten und Kontrollpersonen eignet, sprich v.a. eignet sich der Gesamtscore der CERAD-Batterie auch zur Beurteilung des Erkrankungsverlaufes bei der Alzheimerdemenz. Der Gesamtscore konnte demzufolge als Maß für den Verlauf bzw. die Progression der Alzheimerdemenz zugrunde gelegt werden.
